Hot tub solar heating

Will these closed solar panels be able to heat a medium hot tub when the outside temperature is 40 degrees farenheit?

Yes they can, solar heating is not a function of exterior temperatures rather the amount of solar energy that is received. Heavy cloud decreases the amount of solar energy and in the evenings there is no solar energy.

Freezing temperatures require a different solar heating solution as glycol needs to be added and a solar heat excahanger is required to seperate the the solar heating solution and the hot tub water.
