Jay, our DIY solar water heating systems are engineered to take the guess work out of building a hot water system.  We size everything for you such that you don't have to be a professional to make the calculations needed.  We also make it very easy to install by using our Aurora Flex Solar Piping.  This piping is stainless steel and very flexible.   It also uses NPT fittings so you don't need to solder.   Finally our PAW solar pump stations simply plug into at 110 VAC plug and by default the system will be up and running. Yes they are.  This also includes the installation cost you may incur.  I would also suggest checking with your state, municipality, and energy company because often there are more rebates and cheap financing for system.  Most states cover DIY solar heating system under these programs.   Dan
