Message: Hi   I am very interested in your solar storage tanks (Solarstor 50 gal SCE) but I am totally off the grid and need one that is propane not electric backup.   Is there something like this available?

Hi Brain, Sorry our solar tanks are not available with propane.  However you could still use solar by going with a pre heat solar system and then using a regular propane tank.  In this layout the solar will pre heat the water in the solar storage tank and then this hot water is drawn to the propane water tank as a hot water tank is open.  In this way the propane tank only needs to provide a little bit of energy to the heated water if any. Thank Alan
